Away Unranked Player 1 David Born
Cooden I Beat University Squash I in a close match.

With the away team having higher Gradings in 3 of the strings, Home advantage looked to be needed to take the win. Local knowledge duly defeated the statisticians and the home team came through for a good win.

On paper, the number 3 string should have been the closest, with only 20 ranking points separating the two players before the match. The Away player, , did well therefore to secure the win.

It was the number 2 String which turned out to be the most competitive, with the Players battling out over a total of 73 Points ! Victory finally going to the Away Player, .

Player of the tie was the Away No. 4 string, Unranked 1, gaining 100 Ranking Points from the match.

If the Away No. 5 player, Stuart Etherington, had not had to withdraw after 2 game(s) the result could have been closer.
Unranked player in bottom team of club - no infringement.
